We’re happy to present two case studies that were created during the ILLUMINEtraining programme. The case studies, which we refer to as ‘research lessons’, involved teachers designing a lesson that involved the use of an evidence-based teaching strategy and then testing the use of the strategy with their students.
Here are two case studies from Tallinn, Estonia:
Tauri Einberg from Tallinn French School (Tallinn, Estonia) introduces his case study on comparing retrieval practice to the KWL (Know-Want-Learn) strategy.
Ingrid Maadvere from Gustav Adolf Grammar School (Tallinn, Estonia) introduces her case study on reframing student mindsets about stress.
