The final Illumine transnational meeting was hosted by Tallinn University, School of Digital Technologies this July. Partners from Spain (UPF, Escola Pia Sarria), Serbia (University of Belgrade) and Portugal (Kokoro Association) joined the meeting in person while partners from ArchiPLAY (Servia) joined online.
The three-day hybrid meeting was run in collaborative working sessions, with the partnership reflecting on the final steps of the project and reviewing its outputs and processes to generate the final versions of the Toolkit and workshops for teachers, the evidence-based teaching practices handbook, the open community website for teachers and research studies. Another focus of the meeting was on discussing the continuity of Illumine outputs and future collaborations.
In the meeting, partners shared the positive experiences of teachers from each country that have participated in the professional development workshops and the 3-days training for teachers in Barcelona. Partners also shared the personal and organisational gains from taking part in the Illumine project and its contribution to support teachers in implementing evidence-based teaching strategies with technology, based on the science of learning.
