The second Illumine transnational meeting was co-hosted by ArchiPlay DOO and the University of Belgrade this April. Partners from Spain (UPF, Escola Pia Sarria) and Portugal (Kokoro Association) joined the meeting in person while others joined online.
The two-day hybrid meeting was run to reflect on the first half of the project and plan the work for the second half. Another focus of the meeting was on preparing for the three-day teach-the-teacher workshops that will take place in Barcelona, Spain this October.
In the meeting, partners shared the positive experiences of teachers from each country that have been participating in the professional development workshops. Partners are eager to finalize additional resources to support teachers such as the handbook on evidence-based teaching and learning strategies and the Illumine Community Platform which shares case study implementations of such strategies. The case studies are created by school teachers and are shared to help other teachers learn how to implement these strategies in authentic educational settings.
